Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible to provide security-related support for offshore activities, contributing to the ongoing development and implementation of security plans. He/She will also maintain an effective security program encompassing policies, practices, procedures, equipment, and technology for swift and cost-effective responses to security emergencies and evacuations.
Job Description
Candidate’s duties shall include the following:
- Serves as the Security Department’s focal point for offshore operations under the guidance of and in close coordination with the Security Lead
- Conduct on-hire security vessel inspections in conjunction with the Logistics Department
- Conduct periodic reviews of security countermeasures for on-hire vessels
- Participate in all aspects of the design, implementation, validation, maintenance and improvement of the Security Program
- Implements and documents the Site Security Activity Plan and Temporary Threat Escalation Matrix
- Coordinate security support for offshore activities and participate in safety meetings
- Liaise with other external Security representatives as appropriate
- Stay informed on security and asset protection technology
- Complete any security incident reports as needed
- Adhere to the values and behavior framework and demonstrate commitment to safety, security, environment, integrity, teamwork and excellence.
- Participate in interface meetings with security service providers
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Security working in an offshore environment
- Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with people of different cultures and nationalities
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office
