5 CXC subjects, including Mathematics and English. Additional certifications in inventory management, logistics, or a related field would be an asset.
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in inventory analysis, supply chain, or a related role. Experience in a fast-paced industrial environment is preferred.
Highly proficient in using computer systems, especially inventory management software and accounting tools like QuickBooks. Must also have a strong command of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy across departments.
Analyze discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve processes.
Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to optimize stock levels and ensure availability.
Develop and maintain inventory reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
Use inventory management software (Lightspeed) to update records and ensure the accuracy of purchases.
Conduct root cause analysis for variances and implement process improvements.
Coordinate with the finance department to confirm syncing of purchase orders in QuickBooks (QB).
Support month-end and year-end inventory closing processes.
Manage additional tasks such as:
Updating manual procedures and the price change book, and notifying relevant teams
Verifying and updating reorder bin cards
Preparing internal invoices for incoming containers
Updating prices in Lightspeed and for the Essequibo branch
Calculating margins and cost prices
