The accountant is responsible for auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. This role requires experience in bookkeeping and keen eye for spotting numerical mistakes.
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all accounting transactions.
Prepare budget forecasts.
Publish Financial statements in time.
Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure timely bank payments.
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
Report on the company's financial health.
Audit financial transactions and documents.
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Perform any other duties as assigned in connection with this role.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of three (3) years' practical experience in accounting and financial management, and supervisory
Knowledge of accounting priniplies, practices, and regulations
CPA designation referred
Proficient in Financial Software and Microsoft Excel
