Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
Evaluate whether the inventory quantities are suffiient for the needs of the company and ordering more materials where necessary.
Correspond with suppliers' inquiries about order status,changes or cancellations.
Correspond with suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
