Our client, an important company operating in the Oil & Gas industry is looking for a Draftsman/Fabrication Engineer to join his team.

His/her activities will be:

• Perform 3D modelling and 2D drafting tasks required by the Project within schedule and with due respect to Quality and Safety requirements related to design, verification, testing or study activities
• Interface with the Design Engineering Office and Site Fabrication on Structural and Piping Fabrication

Salary will depend on the experience

• Develop and issue shop drawings and, at the same time, relevant MTO / WSL in the correct format for use, based on referenced standard methodologies.


• In the case of 3D models shared with Design Engineering, ensure coordination to synchronize updates and


• Preparation of Shop drawings for Fabrication activities, Verification and Updating of Shop


• In case of shop design activity subcontracted, perform the Verification step of subcontractor deliverables, with the due level of extension.


• Prepare and share MTO / WSL / NDT rules in the Fabrication Management System and verify that the operation is successful and correct.


• For all changes generated in the yard to Design documentation, obtain preventive approval from Design


• Predispose the issue of “As Built” design documentation, tracking all changes and relevant approval references in a Master Copy of Design documentation set, utilizing Red Marking where applicable.


• Issue “As Built” SHOP drawings/documentation.


• Contribute and support the project to pursue the best Engineering / Procurement / Installation solutions, accounting for Fabrication effectiveness (Constructability process).


• Interface with Project Design specialists to analyze and process Design deliverables of


• Provide technical support to production activities, internal and subcontracted, and be the reference for any issue and support solutions involving Fabrication Design specialists when necessary.


• Keep technical documentation up to date, including Design documentation red mark-up with reference to approval documentation.
