As an Audit Clerk, you are responsible for auditing financial transactions, maintaining records, verifying accuracy, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. You support the auditing team by preparing financial documents, reconciling accounts, and reporting discrepancies.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct stock reconciliation to match physical stock with records.
- Perform stock-taking of goods from vehicles and verify stock movement.
- Conduct cash verification to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Verify vouchers and bank reconciliation.
- Assist in preparing audit reports and documentation for management.
- Identify potential financial risks or inconsistencies and report them to senior auditors.
- Assist in any other task.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Typically works in an office or field setting.
- Standard full-time hours (Monday-Friday), with possible overtime during audit periods.
- Will require travel for audits or financial reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or auditing (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
