RESPONSIBILITIES
- Input, update and maintain data in databases, spreadsheets, and other electronic systems.
- Enter alphanumeric data from various source, including paper documents, electronic files, and forms.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data enterd, reviewing and verifying information or errors or discrepancies.
- Perform quality checks to identify and correct data entry errors and inconsistencies.
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper files, ensuring proper indexing and filing of documents.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines for data entry and record-keeping.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to data security policies and procedures.
- Handle sensitive data with discretion and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Complete data entry tasks within established deadlines and turnaround times.
- Prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively to meet productivity targets.
- Communicate with team members, supervisor, and other stakeholders to clarify data entry requirements and resolve issues.
- Report any discrepancies, errors, or problems encountered during data entry to appropriate personnel.
- Document data entry activities, including timestamps and updates, to track progress and ensure accountability.
- Generate reports and summaires as needed to support data analysis and decision making.
- Perform any other duties as assigned in connection with this role.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year practical experience as a data entry clerk role, with a track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in typing and data entry, with excellent keyboarding skills and speed.
- Knowledge of data entry software, databases, and spreadsheet applications.
