Job Summary
Location: Support, East Bank Demerara
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, documents and goods.
• Coordinate with the accounts supervisor daily to offset outgoing documents and payments.
• Complete vehicle logbook during and after delivery.
• Ensure regular maintenance and cleanliness of the company vehicle.
• Making sure that documents and correspondence are delivered promptly.
• Ensuring the company vehicle is clean inside and outside by having it cleaned weekly at the wash bay.
• Requesting and clearing of an advance to clean the company vehicle weekly.
• Coordinate with the inventory supervisor and the inventory clerk on the purchasing of stocks and goods.
• Make sure that all of the vehicle documents are valid, including fitness, insurance and revenue licence.
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the Accounts Supervisor or the Finance Manager.
• Maintained all of the company's policies and procedures.
• No accidents or damage to the company property.
• Maintained a clean and tidy vehicle at all times.
• Comply with safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a valid driver's license always
Job Description
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s Licence MC and MIB.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Driver/ Office Assistant.
- Secondary school education.
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
- Attentive to details and has a sharp eye while on the job.
