Job Summary
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participate in a structured, instructor-led training program focused on five key technical disciplines: Production (Operations), Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Cargo.
• Attend classroom sessions, complete practical exercises, and take part in learning evaluations to build core technical skills.
• Work offshore on a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel for the duration of the program.
• Apply safety practices and demonstrate awareness of offshore operational procedures.
• Assist with maintenance tasks and gain hands-on experience in assigned technical areas.
• Support continuous development activities as determined by the training program.
• Maintain professionalism, discipline, and strong communication throughout the training process.
Job Description
Requirements:
• Minimum of a two-year technical certification from a recognized institution or NVQ Level 2 / CVQ Level 2 qualification.
• Diploma or Degree in a technical or engineering field is an asset.
• At least two years of relevant experience in the desired technical discipline.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work a standard offshore schedule (Monday to Sunday, 12 hours per day).
• Must be willing and able to travel for training outside of Guyana.
• Medically fit with the ability to pass required evaluations, including Drug & Alcohol testing, TB test, and OGUK medical.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous learning.
• Ability to communicate effectively and apply technical knowledge to real-world scenarios.
