As an Audit Clerk, you are responsible for auditing financial transactions, maintaining records, verifying accuracy, and ensuring compliance with accounting and audit standards. You support the auditing team by preparing financial documents, reconciling accounts, and reporting discrepancies.
Job Description
Key responsibilities:
Verify invoice & expense vouchers and supporting information
Reperform bank reconciliations
Attend stock takings
PHysically verify client assets
Assist in preparing audit reports and documentation for seniors.
Identify potential financial risks or inconsistencies and report them to senior auditors.
Assist in any other tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
