Job Summary
The Guarding Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple branches or divisions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality security services to customers, managing customer engagement and dealing with operational issues as they arise, overall responsibility for arms and ammunition at branches as well as the head office, and responsibilities for allowance approvals.

The main responsibilities include:
- Oversee multiple branches or divisions: Ensure that all branches or divisions are operating efficiently and effectively, and that all security services are being delivered to the highest standards.
- Contract management: Overall responsibility for all contract management, including negotiation, execution, and compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Customer engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including identifying customer needs, addressing complaints, and providing excellent customer service.
- Operational issues: Identify and resolve operational issues as they arise, including dealing with personnel and equipment issues.
- Arms and Ammunition Management: Overall responsibility for the management, maintenance and tracking of all arms and ammunition at the branches and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Allowance approvals: Overall responsibility for approving allowances for the security team members, including ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and direction: Provide leadership and direction to the security teams across all branches or divisions, and ensure that all employees are motivated and working towards achieving company goals.
- Collaborate with other departments: Collaborate with other departments to ensure that security services are aligned with overall company goals and objectives.
- Provide training and development opportunities: Provide training and development opportunities for security team members to ensure that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
- The Guarding Manager should have a bachelor's degree in security management, business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a leadership role in security management or related field.
- Additionally, experience in arms and ammunition management and allowance approvals is a must.
- Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to work well under pressure, and to be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- The Guarding Manager must also have a good understanding of the laws and regulations governing the security industry, as well as a knowledge of best practices in security management.
