Job Summary
The laundry worker is responsible for washing, drying, ironing and finishing the company's staff clothes, bed sheets, quilts and other textiles to ensure that they are clean, tidy and meet the specified standards.
Job Description
- Collect dirty clothes and linens from designated places in the company, count and sort them.
- According to the type of fabric and dirt degree, select the appropriate washing method, temperature and detergent for washing.
- Operate the dryer to dry the washed textiles, and control the drying time and temperature to prevent damage.
- Iron the dried clothes and linens with an ironing machine or iron to make them flat and neat.
- Fold and stack the processed textiles in categories and distribute them to the corresponding departments or individuals.
- Clean the laundry room and laundry equipment regularly to maintain a clean and hygienic working environment.
- Report the use of laundry supplies in a timely manner to ensure sufficient inventory.
