Job Summary
The Human Resources Officer shall be responsible for the full employee life cycle: recruitment, onboarding, salary and benefits administration, industrial relations, supporting employee development and for fostering positive employee experience and culture across the company.
Job Description
Scope, dimensions and duties include:


  • Working closely with the Human Resources Manager to align HR strategies with company's business goals




  • Tailor recruitment approach to attract and retain talent, keeping pipeline of candidates active and extending reach




  • Monitoring the compensation structure and conduct HR related surveys to develop strategies to enhance quality of work life




  • Conduct job analysis to model job design consistent with evolving company workforce requirements; route results into Job Descriptions




  • Periodically review content of orientation programme to deliver accurate representation of company and expectation from newly appointed employees to set the tone for sustenance of healthy company culture




  • Engage team leads on statistics in relation to turnover, attendance, employee relations, grievance, loss days and other HR related patterns. Create and sustain channel for continuous employee feedback




  • Address industrial relations matters relative to disciplinary matters, grievances and conducts investigations in accordance with established manuals and SOPs. Provide report with recommended actions




  • Support the Performance Evaluation exercise and collaborate with Training Unit in identifying skill gaps, recommend training programmes to improve employee output and morale




  • Operate in compliance with national labour laws and the company's Integrated Quality Management System




Requirements:

Education: First degree in Social Science with concentration in Human Resource Management, Psychology or related field. Professional HR certification will be an asset


Experience: Minimum of three (3) years' experience in senior HR role with exposure to several HR disciplines. Usage of HRMS and/or HRIS software, HR management tools and methods
