Job Description
The Candidates’ duties shall include the following:
- Support Logistics Manager/Lead in logistics and materials management.
- Ensure logistics/materials management is integrated into project design and planning.
- Collaborate with procurement on contracting, deliveries, customs, and logistics planning.
- Assess local transport and in-country logistics capabilities.
- Develop logistics elements for bids, monitor KPIs, and track progress reporting.
- Pre-qualify, approve, and reevaluate logistics contractors, and understand their capabilities.
- Define project-specific work scope for contractors. Ensure safety, quality, availability, and reliability in contractor logistics execution.
- Ensure the EPC Contractor issues POs on schedule and confirms vendor acceptance of terms.
- Report all Overage, Shortage, and Damaged (OS&D) of the materials received.
- Maintain accurate records, material issue reports, and transaction/shipment files.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years’ experience in logistics planning, construction, safety, or procurement.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
- Proficient in basic math; algebra and geometry.
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally to project sites.
