Job Description
Procurement clerks are Responsible for supporting daily purchasing activities, sourcing quotations, managing procurement documents, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials. Maintains accurate records, performs site runs, assists with inventory checks, and upholds company procurement policies and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Preferably Male, aged 20–40
- Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years driving experience
- Knowledge of mining supplies, hardware materials, and field purchasing (an
advantage)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Honest, responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel & Word)
Responsibilities
- Assist the Procurement Coordinator with daily purchasing activities
- Source, compare, and secure quotations from suppliers
- Conduct pick-ups, deliveries, and site run as required
- Prepare and maintain procurement documentation (RFQs, purchase orders,
requisitions, logs)
- Liaise with vendors and follow up on pending orders
- Ensure materials and supplies are sourced at the best quality and price
- Support inventory checks for mining, hardware, and general materials
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with company procurement policies
