Job Description
Assist in identifying and procurement of high-demand and best-selling products to meet customer needs.
Assist in monitoring inventory levels to ensure stock is adquate while avoiding overstock.
Assist in conducting regular inventory checks to verify accuracy and address discrepancies.
Accurately create new product entries in the POS system, including detailed descriptions pricing and SKU assignments.
Set abd adjust competitive pricing strategies to align with market conditions and profit margins.
Maintain accurate records of product procurement, sales and returns for auditing/ accounting purposes.
Assist with the posting and receiving of orders in the POS system, ensuring proper documentation.
Condust regular checks of product expiration dates and ensure timely removal of expired items.
Support the implementation of startegies to manage close-dated products, including promotions and discounts.
Monitor and report on inventory discrepancies, damaged goods and expired products to the Supervisor/ Assistant Branch Manager.
Supervised and oversee the performance of store employees ensuring all duties are performed efficiently.
Create and manage daily staff schedules, ensuring adquate coverage during operational hours.
Support the Supervisor/ Assistant Branch Manager in enforcing company policies procedures and operational standards.
Addressing and resolve operational challenges or escalate them to the Supervisor/ Assistant Branch Manager when necessary.
Work alongside the Supervisor/ Assistant Branch Manager to prepare and set schedule for all staff in the mini mart.
Provide coaching and guidance to team members for improved performance.
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback or coaching to improve efficiency and productivity.
Promote a positive team-oriented work environment by addressing conflicts or concerns professionally.
Step into the role of acting Supervisor/ Assistant Branch Manager in the absence of the two.
Perform any additional tasks assignment by the supervisor/ Assistant Branch Manager or management team to support store operations.
