The Bus Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of company personnel (security officers) or clients to various sites and locations. Given the nature of the company, this role requires a high level of discipline, punctuality, and a strong commitment to safety and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Transport: Transport staff or passengers to designated locations, adhering strictly to delivery schedules and shift rotations.


• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily "pre-trip" inspections (checking oil, tires, brakes, and lights) and report any mechanical issues or defects immediately.


• Traffic Compliance: Adhere to all Guyana traffic laws and speed limits. Practice defensive driving techniques at all times.


• Security Awareness: Maintain a high level of situational awareness; report any suspicious activity or incidents encountered on the road to the operations room.


• Vehicle Care: Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and organized.


• Customer Service: Represent Elite Protection Services professionally when interacting with clients or the public.

 

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 CSEC passes preferred.


• A valid Guyanese Driver’s License with the specific class required for a Bus


• 3–5 years of professional driving experience. Experience driving "Canter" trucks or similar large vehicles is considered an asset.


• A clean driving record with no major accidents or serious traffic violations.


• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.


• Preference is often given to candidates residing in or near Georgetown.

Punctual, disciplined, and able to work flexible hours (including nights, weekends, or holidays depending on shift requirements
