Duties and Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
• Operate and program fabrication machinery safely.
• Set up and operate welding equipment.
• Measure, mark, and layout materials according to production specifications, using precision instruments.
• Conduct tack welding, grinding, and finishing processes to refine fabricated components.
• Assemble metal structures and components using bolting, riveting, and welding techniques.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure all fabricated components meet required specifications and tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues, including material defects, incorrect cuts, and welding inconsistencies.
• Maintain and calibrate fabrication equipment and tools to ensure operational efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
