Job Summary
A Finance Supervisor will support the Finance Manager by overseeing daily financial operational activities and ensuring accurate reporting, to allow the Finance Manager to focus on strategic planning and decision-making. The supervisor will manage and train the finance team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and deadlines are met. He/She shall further provide valuable insights through financial analysis and reporting, helping the Finance Manager make informed recommendations. Additionally, the supervisor will assists in budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensures compliance with regulations, to strengthen the overall financial health of the organization. This collaborative relationship enables the Finance Manager to drive broader financial strategies while maintaining a well-functioning team.
Job Description

  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to track performance.

  2. Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the annual budget, ensuring all departments adhere to financial guidelines.

  3. Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payments and collections.

  4. Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management processes, including tracking stock levels and costs to minimize waste and optimize purchasing.

  5. Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis to assess product profitability, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support pricing strategies.

  6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific regulations.

  7. Team Leadership: Supervise and train finance staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  8. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  9. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as production and sales, to align financial goals with operational objectives.

  10. Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing any inquiries.
