The Payroll Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time. They will process payroll data and ensure that all relevant taxes and deductions are calculated and deducted correctly.
Weekly:
- Process Power Pay, Annual leave, staff deductions, credit union deductions, industrial accidents, drivers, punctuality, atm, risk into payroll
- Resolve payroll queries
Fortnightly:
- Execute security officers' payroll - review edits, process the payroll, basic recon, payslips, banking info., signature sheet
- Maintain payrolls filing
Monthly and annual functions apply as well.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of PAYE, and NIS regulations and laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
- Experience with accounting software and systems, including Peachtree.
