We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at an apartment building that offers both short-term and long-term accommodations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience from check-in to check-out, while supporting the smooth daily operation of the property. This role involves working in rotating shifts (including nights) and offers a flexible weekly day off of the employee’s choice.
Job Description
- Greet and check in guests for short-term and long-term stays in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle guest check-outs, issue invoices, and process payments.
- Manage phone and email inquiries; provide accurate information about bookings, rates, and availability.
- Maintain room and apartment bookings using our reservation system.
- Monitor room attendants to ensure cleanliness and readiness of units.
- Conduct routine checks of rooms and apartments for cleanliness and inventory.
- Keep track of housekeeping supplies and amenities; notify management when reordering is needed.
- Respond to guest complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain logs and records related to bookings, maintenance issues, guest requests, and inventory.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
