Automotive Art Guyana is seeking a qualified and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring compliance with internal controls and reporting standards.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and demonstrates a high level of integrity and professionalism. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring that all procedures align with the company’s vision and values.

Requirements

- Minimum CAT Level 2 qualification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, including exposure to office management or supervisory duties
- Proficient in Quickbooks
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities

- Perform daily accounting functions including journal entries, reconcilliations, and ledger maintenance
- Manage accounts receivable and payable transactions
- Assist with payroll processing and statutory submissions
Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and documentation
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain compliance with company policies, internal controls, and relevant laws
- Provide accounting support to other departments as needed

Remuneration/Benefits
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Range: GYD$160,000 - $220,000 per month
