Job Summary
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive consultations with walk-in patients.
• Manage chronic care clinics such as diabetes, hypertension, and family planning.
• Perform minor surgical procedures as required (e.g., suturing, wound care).
• Administer and interpret ECGs and manage intravenous therapy.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy, laboratory, and imaging teams for patient diagnosis and care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient education initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with local medical laws and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with marketing team to assist with promoting the facility and meeting key health stakeholders in the Country.
Job Description
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license and registration (Guyana Medical Council eligibility is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience post-internship.
- Experience in primary care, minor procedures, and chronic disease management.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice and patient-centered care.
