Overview
We are looking for a reliable and customer-oriented IT Services Support Specialist to provide on-site in Linden Level 1 support. The role focuses on desktop support, hardware troubleshooting, and basic application support, ensuring smooth IT operations within the office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and basic applications.
Troubleshoot hardware issues and assist with basic repairs.
Support video conferencing tools such as Zoom and related call software.
Handle VPN, access points, and connectivity troubleshooting.
Assist users with account issues, including username and password resets.
Perform occasional weekend support for scheduled backups (only a couple of hours as needed).
Ensure timely communication on issues and escalate to higher-level support when necessary.
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional, helpful approach at all times.
Required Skills
Knowledge of desktop environments, hardware, and basic networking concepts.
Basic understanding of VPNs, access points, and troubleshooting connectivity.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and general productivity tools.
Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
Strong reliability, problem-solving attitude, and customer service mindset.
Knowledge of UPS systems is considered a plus.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Occasional weekend availability for short backup tasks.
